[KC Chiefs.com] The Chiefs announced tonight that they have signed a total of 10 players, nine of them are their own free agents. The lone outsider is WR Steve Breaston, which was unofficially announced last night.
The complete list includes:
Eight unrestricted free agents:
RB Jackie Battle
WR Steve Breaston
WR Terrance Copper
CB Travis Daniels
S Jon McGraw
T Ryan O’Callaghan
TE Leonard Pope
C Casey Wiegmann
One restricted free agent:
FB Mike Cox
One exclusive rights free agent:
S Reshard Langford

Steve Breaston is a huge signing! Another burner and makes his living over the middle. Can handle return duties. Finally the Chiefs have a player from Michigan on the roster.
I’ve been watching this kid since he was a freshman at U of M. Good student and person. Pioli likes him and so does coach. He and Haley started a relationship in Arizona and Haley doesn’t just want anybody he’s worked with before. If you were secretly hoping for T.O., well that isn’t going to happen.
Remember they were a minute and a half from winning the Super Bowl a couple years sgo in Arizona. Steve Breaston was a big part in drawing coverage from an extra cb, opening up Fitz and Bolden.
