[Chiefs Blog] Quarterback coach Jim Zorn said offensive coordinator Bill Muir and not head coach Todd Haley will call the plays in Friday night’s preseason opener against Tampa Bay at Arrowhead Stadium.
”Bill is calling the plays so he’ll be in the press box,” Zorn said after Wednesday night’s practice. ”I can tell you that. I’m sure he will take some suggestions.”
Zorn didn’t indicate whether the play-calling arrangement was permanent.
Zorn also said all three quarterbacks, including starter Matt Cassel, would play against the Buccaneers.
