[KC Chiefs.com] After waiving seven players Monday morning, the Chiefs made two additional roster moves following today’s practice. The team is now within NFL roster guidelines that take effect at 3:00 PM (CST) on August 30th.

The Chiefs released kicker Todd Carter and placed offensive tackle Ryan O’Callaghan on the injured reserve list, ending his season.

After losing O’Callaghan, the Chiefs are now done to three experienced offensive tackles, Branden Albert, Barry Richardson, and Jared Gaither. The Chiefs also have undrafted rookies in David Mims and Butch Lewis who have played tackle.
