You dont need a Tom Brady or Petyon Manning to win a championship. Matts good enough to get the job done and thats all you need. I know this is cliche but its true...defense wins Championships. Our defense is getting pretty solid, and Houston and Bailey will take over as the year progresses. They just need to learn the system completely until they get put in there. And youre right, Tyson is terrible. I doubt he could even run down Tom Brady if he got past the OT, its embarrassing. They should just run a 4-3 though, watching Hali in pass coverage is not a pretty sight...

Matt Cassel played fine last year. It's difficult to compare QBs on teams that run different systems. No he's not one of the top 8 QBs in the league (even though he was runner up for the pro bowl last year) and he's not going to make big come-from-behind magic very often, but he's okay. I guess we could have gone for McNabb, but there were no other QBs available this year that would be better than Cassel. 27TD/7INT is a pretty good year. Matt Cassel's number were actually way better than Bradfords in all areas except completion precentage. 17 for 19 in game 4 last night was pretty good.

Looking at our schedule this year, we need to dominate the clock and you do that running the ball, getting first downs and playing defense. I hope he wins you over through the year, but you have pretty high standards for QBs. Wish we could get Brees or Brady, but that isn't happening.

Better start looking for a quarterback in the bleachers.
