[KC Chiefs.com] Less than two weeks after releasing tight end Anthony Becht, the Chiefs brought him back today. To make room for him on the roster, the Chiefs released tight end Jake O’Connell.

The move makes sense other than its timing. Becht has only today’s practice to get ready for Sunday’s game against the Lions in Detroit.

Becht will probably be active Sunday since the Chiefs only other tight end is Leonard Pope.
