[Chiefs Blog] Chiefs president Mark Donovan told The Star on Friday that a report this morning that the organization has sold corporate naming rights to Arrowhead Stadium is false.
A local blogger reported on his website Friday that the Chiefs had agreed to terms with a nationally known corporation and that an announcement would be made by the end of this month.
Donovan said neither of those assertions is true.

Lets hope its not true because I cant imagine going to a game and not going to Arrowhead Stadium. It just wouldnt be the same being named anything else. Theres to much tradition there to call it anything but Arrowhead Stadium! It sucks not being able to watch the Chiefs this week, win or lose but oh well I guess that just makes it sweeter when we kick the Raiders ass next week. Go Chiefs!!!!!!

I would hope it would stay Arrorhead Stadium forever, but this is a new era and money talks. Someday someone will get naming rights. Lets just hope it is a company called Arrorhead.

Name change or not – it will always be called Arrowhead stadium to us Chiefs Fans – I Live in NJ and try to get out there once or twice a year and love it – Its funny we have a similar situation Here – they built a new stadiun for the Giants and Jets and call it MET-LIFE – but to us in the area – we will always call it the Meadowlands. BTW – Its nothin compared to Arrowhead – GO CHIEFS
