[KC Chiefs.com] The NFL informed the Chiefs on Wednesday that CB Brandon Flowers has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in a 28-0 win at Oakland last Sunday.

Flowers intercepted two passes, including one he returned 58 yards for a touchdown in the Chiefs 28-0 victory. He also added five tackles and four passes defensed.
