[KC Chiefs.com] Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop has been named the AFC’s Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts in last Sunday’s 19-14 victory over the previously unbeaten Green Bay Packers.
Succop converted on all four of his field goal attempts and was responsible for 13 of the Chiefs 19 points in the game.
The award is Succop’s second Special Teams Player of the Week accolade in 2011.

No longer, Mr. Irrelevant.

Definitely no longer irrelevant. Turned out good for the Chiefs for years to come.

He proved his rookie year the title “Mr. Irrelevant” wasnt fitting. Personally im tired of hearing refered to as such. I think he is just below the top tier of kickers in the league and will soon be refered to as one of the best at his position, active that is.

He had a few problems earlier in the year when he missed some chip shots. People were starting to call him Fuccop. I’m glad he has made that nickname go away. He’s not a Fuccop! He’s Succop!!!
