[KC Chiefs.com] Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel said today during an interview on SiriusXM NFL Radio that he would call the defenses for the Chiefs next season.
”The last three games I remained the defensive coordinator and . . . it worked pretty (well),” he said, referring to his time as interim head coach at the end of the season.
He also indicated he would like to retain the rest of the defensive coaching staff.
Crennel also said the Chiefs would most likely hire an offensive coordinator who didn’t work with the Chiefs last season.

ROMEO! ROMEO! ROMEO! The sucky Browns was just a training session so that one day Romeo would get his second shot at head coach and now deliver the goods. Please give us a super awesome (non-ancient) Offensive Cordinator who knows how to bust Dexter loose, get our nice WRs the ball, and making sure Palko never touches the ball for KC EVER AGAIN! KC 2012, I can’t wait. Berry and Charles better be ready to kick some ass next year because I know Romeo will be ready to go NO DOUBT!! KC FOREVER!!!

I agree Muir needs to go, but this will be Cassel’s 5th OC since start of 09 season–Gailey, Haley, Weis, Muir and the next guy.

Thats if Cassel is the starter.

Theres nothing like needing 7 yards for a first down and Cassel throws to a guy on the three. ALL THE TIME!
