For the 3 years this guy was OC he used his amazing knowledge and coaching abilities to get his team’s offensive rated as high as 32 29 20. Wow awesome. Even better his coaching ablility really helped Mangini and Sparano with their careers. Good luck Coach Crennel.

I’m going to vomit…NFL Network just posted the top 10 QB salaries last seaaon and Cassel was no. 3!! In the frigging whole league!! Mark Sanchez makes the most at 14+, but Cassel makes 12+…more than Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford, Matt Ryan, ELI MANNING, Phillip Rivers and on and on…that just depresses me…we are screwed…we can NEVER get to the Super Bowl with that goof, I’m sorry, he’s an ok no. 2…that’s all!! The last so-many SBs have all had top-notch QBs except for Rex Grossman…Peyton, Eli, Big Ben, Rodgers, Brady, Brees, Warner…that’s like the last six SBs…Cassel just doesn’t have it, WTF are we gonna do? Peyton wants to come to a legit team (which we are) and ideally with a new OC so that the OC can let Peyton do Peyton w/o getting caught up in what the OC is used to…it looks good on paper and I know the Chiefs have $$$, but Cassel’s salary is a BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGG problem.

Well if I were the Head Coach of the Chiefs I would have gone a completely different direction and brought in Kliff Kingsbury(Houston)and/or Paul Chryst(Wisconsin) Both Offensive Coordinators at the college level whom are completely ready and prepared for the next level. Never heard of them yea Surpring!!!! Lol!!! But my first mistake that I would not have made and let my ego(Todd Haley) get in the way of being sucessful was letting Charlie Weiss go to Florida. I would have done everything in my power to let him run the ship and stay back and play HC!! Cuz wow weiss is back in the midwest as quick as Mr. Haley left it!!! But thats just me !!!

Daboll has been given a chance in New England, Cleveland and Miami JEFF (U DUMMY) what more does he need to be given a chance he sucks everywhere he has gone. tdmt, I only mentioned that I was a fan since I moved to KC in 1969, because Adam mentioned how long he’s been a fan. I never said I was a bigger fan (even though I don’t know anyone who loves the Chiefs more than me). You don’t even get my point which is people have to be given a chance to be good. All great coaches were given a shot at one point. What BIG TIME coach would you have hired for OC if you were a general manager or HC? What is your criteria for BIG TIME coach? If you don’t like the hire, please go root for someone else.

You’ve be a fan for 43 years, wow you must know it all. And you want to take more time to give another non-proven coach a chance. But wait what if I was here in 1963 when they arrived (49 years ago), by your emphasis in how long you’ve been a fan I would then be a bigger fan than you. (By the way I was here but that doesn’t make me.) I am just sick of giving second rate or un-proven coaches a chance to prove themselves. (Of course the big name coaches mostly go to the big time cities.) We should have told Crennel he is the DC and that he will like it and then paid the money for someone proven like Fisher. Then bring in a big time OC. Of course no one would be happier than me if all these losing record coaches began to win not even you. (Nor I more than you.) And why would you bring into the conversation a putz like tearbone of the dimview bankos? Just cause ESPN bring his name up eveyday we don’t have to.

Well I’ve been a Chiefs fan for 43 years and I don’t see anything wrong with giving him a chance. Romeo likes him and trusts him. I hope he proves you all wrong and gets his FOURTH SB ring. Real Chiefs fans will be rooting for him too. If you can’t do that, please go jump on the Tebow bandwagon or something. We almost made the playoffs with Muir as OC, I’m sure this guy will be an improvement.

I think I may have forgot the 31-3 ass whooping KC got with this guy as the Miami’s OC, or Miami beating Buffalo 35-8,or even beating Oakland 34 -14 that is 100 points in 3 games that is almost half of the 212 that KC scored in 18 games. Sure they started of way slow, but still he put numbers up.

Now lets think about Peyton possibly coming to KC with this scenerio.

Peyton to KC would make this team run around like the new “Greatest Show on Turf”. KC needs to resign Bowe, sign Peyton, and ATTEMPT to get Welker (Money to Peyton may make it impossible). I think the offense will be set with a Welker, Bowe, Moiaki, Charles, Richardson (Draft Pick from Alabama)and then Peyton with the key to the offense.

Do you think I will be at the games again??? DAMN right I would. Sure we can say Montana in the 80′s, but that is a different scenerio, Montana was going down, Manning is still in the incline, just his medical would be in question.

Think of all teh teams that would be in the running…ALL, BUT who does not need a QB…. thats the question that needs to be addressed.

In short, Peyton can make any OC look sharp, and I would do what I can to get this guy
