[KC Chiefs.com] More than a month after Romeo Crennel was hired as head coach, he finally has a completed coaching staff. The Chiefs filled in the blanks by promoting Nick Sirianni to receivers coach and hiring Jack Bicknell Jr. as the offensive line coach.
Sirianni was an offensive assistant coach for the Chiefs for the past three seasons. Before joining the Chiefs, he was the wide receiver coach for three seasons at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Bicknell was the assistant offensive line coach for the New York Giants the last three seasons. He also coached the offensive line for two years at Boston College and spent eight years as the head coach at Louisiana Tech.
The Chiefs also hired Jim Bob Cooter as an offensive assistant and Derius Swinton as a special teams assistant. Cooter was an offensive assistant the past three seasons for the Colts while Swinton helped coach special teams for the Rams the last three years.
