To Dave – Manning is smart even if he won’t scramble. He analyzes defensive schemes well. If Denver’s upcoming OL is porous, well and good, if not, blitzing may do more harm than good.

Off subject. anyone know why players salaries on here has not been changed since 2009? A lot of those players are no longer here. Some have been gone quite awhile. They update rosters but not players salaries. Just curious. Back on subject. Brady will be a great back up if not win starting spot. Winston, Boss, Hillis and Brady made up for not getting Manning. Manning was too costly and one good hit he may be done. 95 million Denver is crazy. Manning goes down they are done. Same old donkeys.We get some depth on the O Line and the west is definitely ours. GOOO CCChiefs.

i hope u are all right…..quinn had to much presser in cleveland im from ohio and hate the browns but no o-line will hurt any quarterback quinn didnt have that in cleveland he was always rushed i think if he had time to throw he would be alright ….quinn with are o-line will be awesome….go chiefs cant wait till opening day

Manning goes to DENVER…… rush the heck out of him and show him what a mistake it was to have him behind center with a team that is in such a disarray with suspensions and noone to really protect him…. Manning wont scramble, and now Denver needs to shore up the offense for him… Tamba, Johnson and Jackson should be licking their chops right now…

I laugh at a team that has a scrambling (literally) QB last year and now get a QB that is a pocket passer…….. TO DAMN FUNNY

I like the move with Winston and Boss. I’d rather had Tolbert over Hillis, and Quinn is no good. Still shows the front office is not willing to bring in another QB, and that Matt Cassell is their guy. Money talks and so does the inability to admit they made a mistake. You remember that Carl Peterson guy? The one we try to forget, he did the same thing in 97 when they chose Grback-up over Gannon.

Now if we sign Wimbley (we need another pass rusher) I will be happy. Then we trade down our pick in the draft.

To Dave, Quinn may challenge for the spot. 1st, he knows the offense already when he was in Cleveland. 2nd, he beat out Tebow for the back-up roll in Denver but the fans pressured management in to puting in Tebow instead of him. 3rd, he won some games on a awful Cleveland team. 4th, he is still young and sometimes it takes QB’s a few years to be succesful at this level. Finally, we are set at TE with Pope (he will resign), Moeaki and Boss.

I would love to see Dallas Clark come to back up Moeaki, JUST incase he gets hurt and is out for the season again. Something that Moeaki had problems with at Iowa.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs agreed to contracts with veteran offensive tackle Eric Winston and quarterback Brady Quinn on Saturday.

Winston was released by the Houston Texas on Monday in a surprising move that saved the team about $4.5 million against the salary cap. He had started every game he played in over the past five seasons at right tackle.

Free agency is all about making your team better by adding quality players. Our beloved Chiefs, have made the best moves by far. We just solidified our line by adding the best OT available. Also, I know many of you are not excited about Mr Quin. However, he has won in this league and now we have a reliable back-up QB with talent. We have not had a capable back-up since Damon Huard. I believe we are the favorite in the West, even if Peyton goes to Denver. Also, we should be in some Superbowl talks. Ravens are too old on defense. Steelers too old all around. Patriots have no defense at all. Finally, the Texans just keep loosing good players. Maybe the Dolphins as a dark horse too.

Damn our Offense is shaping up already!!! And we havent even drafted anybody yet. OLine-Winston,Albert,Lilja,Hudson and Mims or a Draft pick. Bowe, Baldwin, Breaston, Mokeai,Boss,Charles, Hillis and Bannon or a Draft Pick at FB!!! Defense will be a top 10 Defense this year we are on our F****** Way!!!!

Well I guess Im the first to make a comment on here. All I want to say is if you agree or disagree with Brady Quinn being competition to Matt cassell thats fine!!! Who cares all I know is the Chiefs are on Fire signing players!! It has been pretty quiet as far as Free Agency goes for a few years now. So I am glad the Chiefs are finally making some moves!!!
