[KC Chiefs.com] Starting inside linebacker Jovan Belcher, a restricted free agent, signed his one-year contract offer with the Chiefs. It’s worth $1.927 million.
Belcher started all 16 games for the Chiefs last season and was second on the team behind Derrick Johnson in tackles.

That is a BIG signing! Love the way Belcher plays. Very blue collar without all the credit.

Belcher reminds me of a LB that played with the Redskins when they won all their Superbowls in the 80′s, Monte Coleman. Every year, everone said that you had to get a big name at MLB to upgrade at that posistion. And every year, Monte and Jovan came to work, were solid and made all the plays that they were supposed to. Plus, you got to rout for a Maine Black Bear.
