Totally agree Dave and after I went on kcchiefs.com the other day I have a new level of respect for Matt cassel now. Because every Chiefs fan I know disrespects this guy and even Pioli and Hunt but the guy keeps his head up and stays positive. I am truly rooting for Matt and hope he has a breakout year!!! If we Draft Decastro He will finally have a line and a pretty good running attack. I think Matt Has no excuses this year with all the offensive weapons this year!!!! Do or Die 4 Cassel and I hope he excels!!!

I expect us to draft a QB in the second round…… Guessing Weeden. We do need a NT though…. Poe is looking good at that spot…. remember KC’s NT is contemplating retirement. Poe would be a great pick at that spot. IF Greg retires then this guy would be perfect.

Several people that have commented on Warpath! are excited about the moves we’ve made so far. I don’t have detailed knowledge about personnel, except remembering that our OL fell apart and that our QB is better than average, but not excellent. With Denver getting Manning and the schedule we have, I have to agree with Dave and Adam, 8-8 give or take a game.

Charles – KC did get some great players…… I will admit that. As for Manning….. with Denver….. makes no difference…..Denver will still be Denver…. Manning out of the dome is like a cat trapped in a box…. WORTHLESS

i am sorry guys to say we are going to be 9-7 is like saying we wont even go to the playoffs this is real 10-6 11-5 12-4 13-3 14-2 15-1 16-0 those are real and some of them are just a dream but i say 10-6 or 12-4 because their is no way the saints beat us because half their team is going to be suspended this year and if they just give up then we will win that game i don’t see us losing to the raiders this year at all look for pay back to them as for the chargers they don’t have a team at all same with the donkeys manning is just going to be hurt and we will win that game as well and the browns thats a win for us

Ok Mike…… if KC goes better than 9-7 this year, I will come on and say I was wrong….. and I expect vice-versa.

Dave, I hope you’re right about Manning. I don’t know his dome vs. non-dome record, all I know is we’re 2-7 vs. the Colts since he’s been there, and some years he didn’t have much of a team. Practicing and playing more in an open stadium, one has to expect he’ll get better there, although I know that’s just a relative statement.

Charles ….. remember …..cold and high altitude…… all you have to rememeber. I personally believe it will be a year of adjustments…. he will mess up and otehr teams should capitalize on it…. Sure he may be acclimated, but during a game ….. thats different
