With their 5th round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs selected cornerback DeQuan Menzie from the University of Alabama.

Menzie (5’10″, 198) was named a first-team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association in 2011, when he recorded 37 tackles, broke up 11 passes, and intercepted one pass for the Crimson Tide.

Menzie is a talented and versatile corner that can lock down on the outside and also move inside to the nickel back with equal ability.
