With their 6th round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs selected running back Cyrus Gray from Texas A&M.
Gray (5’10″, 198) was a three-year starter for the Aggies and was awarded all-conference honors as a senior when he ran for 1,045 yards and 12 touchdowns. Gray finished his career as the school’s third-leading rusher with 3,298 yards and 632 carries.
Gray has been consistent in all areas of the game the past three seasons and is a productive ballcarrier who can fill a variety of roles. He lacks the skills to be a feature runner but should be an effective second ballcarrier on a roster.

Really like this back. Good size and speed. He will add much needed depth. Hope we don’t see him this year because I know we all want to see a healthy Charles and Hillis run wild all year long. Hopefully, he will come on in 2 or 3 three years.
