[Kansas City.com] Chiefs cornerback Donald Washington was arrested Thursday in Effingham, Ill., and has been charged with driving under the influence of drugs, marijuana possession, driving on a suspended license and speeding, according to court documents.
The Effingham Daily News reported that Washington, 25, was stopped Thursday afternoon by the Illinois State Police for allegedly driving 86 mph in a 65 mph zone, according to Effingham County State’s Attorney Ed Deters. Washington was pulled over on Interstate 70 about five miles west of Effingham, which is about 100 miles east of St. Louis.
Bond was set at $20,000 and Washington posted bail after his court appearance, the newspaper reported. All four charges are misdemeanors, but more charges could be pending. Deters told the paper that police found crushed pills during a search after Washington’s arrest and they are being tested to see if they are a controlled substance.

I was hoping we would make it through the off-season without getting hit with the arrest bug that’s going around the league. No such luck. At least it’s not one of our stars. (Knock on wood) I would cut him.

maybe you are right Jeff. You don’t want that rubbing off on anyone else in the locker room. The season looks way too good for us now going in as it is : D
