[Kansas City.com] Could the contract stalemate between wide receiver Dwayne Bowe and the Chiefs be coming to a close?
According to Metro Sports, Bowe landed at Kansas City International Airport this afternoon before the Chiefs opened the preseason at Arrowhead Stadium.
Bowe, the club’s franchise player, is the Chiefs’ only unsigned player. He has yet to sign the one-year tender offer of about $9.5 million. Until he does, he is not required to appear at camp.
The way the chiefs looked against cardinals, I think we could do fine without Bowe. If the real Bowe show arrives, we could be unstoppable. This team will surprises us all this season. It looks to me like Crennel has made this team buy in from the veterans to the new rookies. If Hilis continues great plays this season they better sign him to a good contract. Same with Bowe if he has a good season. AFC West watch out Chiefs are back. Manning better prepare were are coming for him. GO CHIEFS!!!!!!

I love my Chiefs but come on Tommychief lets not overreact to one preseason game. Yes they looked great but wow keep the trophy talk in your gut for now.

What’s Bowe’s problem? Does he want to be a Chief or not? Sign me to the big money now, so I can relax and drop more balls? Get with it or get gone!

You go tommchief , I like what iam hearing, Iam saying and thinking the same thing. I would like to see our defense be tested and our offense , but I think we can win the west and make some teams worry after that !! gooooo Kansas City CHIEFS !
