[KC Chiefs.com] The Chiefs announced today that they have released 14 players to get to the NFL’s mandated number of 75. The following players have been released by the club:

OL Justin Cheadle (California)
DB Dominique Ellis (South Carolina St.)
DB Jean Fanor (Behune-Cookman)
LB Dexter Heyman (Louisville)
OL Cam Holland (North Carolina)
WR Jeremy Horne (Massachusetts)
DE Ethan Johnson (Notre Dame)
WR Brandon Kinnie (Nebraska)
WR Zeke Markshausen (Northwestern)
K Matt Szymanski (SMU)
WR Aaron Weaver (Syracuse)
The NFL’s next mandatory roster cut-down day will be Friday, Aug. 31, when each club will be required to be at 53 players.
