It’s time to move on. Matt Cassel will not get us to the next level. We should give Quinn and Stanzi chances and see if we have anything with these two guys. Hopefully, one emerges as a competent #2 QB. When the season is over, go all in for Geno Smith! He’s a stud and could step in immediately. He would be better than Cam Newton with much better pieces around him. Probably not as good as RG3 but a top 10 QB from the start. We got to try something!!!

Yea I dont see Quinn coming in and being a Doug Flutie. But then again, maybe Cassel seeing some competition will wake him up, but then again if he’s not awake now he never will be. All in all, its once again a disappointing turn out for us. I cannot believe we can be this bad, this often. This year was supposed to be THE year, the year I get to see my team win a playoff game. Sheesh. I still love them, and I still get made fun of for liking them, but I dont care. Lets Go Chiefs!

I believe the quote in this article was a response to something Tony Dungy said about replacing a starting QB, not about how Crennel would replace Cassel. But I may be wrong.
If we don’t get some blocking, it won’t matter who is QB.
Poor starts, penalties, and lack of rhythm in the offense are all signs of poor coaching to me.

Maybe the stars will align and we will once again get a superstar QB. Cassel is still the best option we have in Chiefs uniform. You can complain all you want and want a new QB, but I don’t know where you will find one in week 5 of the season.
