[Kansas City.com] Chiefs quarterback Brady Quinn, who has missed the last two games because of a concussion, said he’s been cleared to return to practice this week and be available for Sunday’s game against Cincinnati.

Quinn made the trip for Monday night’s 16-13 loss to Pittsburgh and was examined by Dr. Micky Collins at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for an hour-and-a-half on Monday and was given the green light to play.

“I’m real excited,” Quinn said. “I was glad to be able to come with the team and being around them again because it stinks not being around these guys and not feeling like you’re a part of them.”

Coach Romeo Crennel had said if Quinn would have been cleared before the Chiefs game at San Diego on Nov. 1, he would have started, but he has not said since if Quinn would reclaim the job once he returns.
