Chiefs Look to Finish Strong Against Panthers

All things considered, this has not been a year the Kansas City Chiefs want to remember by any means. They have lost almost every game they have played and have often been blown out in the process. While they have had a few shining moments on the year, one of which being beating the New Orleans Saints earlier in the season, it has been pretty much a somber year for the team. They are playing another struggling team in the Carolina Panthers this coming week, however, so the Chiefs may have a chance of not only covering the NFL odds that have them at +3 but also winning the game.
One thing the Chiefs have not been able to take care of over the past few years is getting a competent quarterback behind center. That is very much the case again this year as they benched Matt Cassel in week 12 to start Brady Quinn. This did not turn out well for the team, however, as he only threw for 126 yards, did not get into the end zone and threw an interception. They need to get their act together and do it soon if they want to finish the season with a little bit of dignity. They have been waining in many other areas as well, including their defense. Basically, the entire team is a mess at this point in time and need to make some major changes soon if they want to have a chance in the coming years.
When it comes to teams that need to get their act together if they want to be serious contenders for the Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs are at the top of the list. While they have a match up with another struggling team int eh Carolina Panthers this week, they really need to start working on their team or they will be struggling for years to come.
