[ESPN.com] Andy Reid has reached an agreement to become the next coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, according to league sources. The contract is now being reviewed by attorneys and is expected to be finalized Friday.

Reid’s deal comes shortly after the Chiefs and general manager Scott Pioli mutually agreed to part ways after four seasons.

The Chiefs held a meeting with the coaching staff Friday morning, presumably to talk about Kansas City’s job search and ongoing talks with Reid, according to sources.

    3. Vick ruined his career in Philly. I dont think we have to worry about that.

    4. Lets just trust him no matter who he brings in for QB. We are not getting an Andrew Luck or RGIII or a free agent as good as Manning. We’re a year late for that and the stars are not lined up.

    6. Vick is not coming in…Hackett will be the GM and the Chiefs will Select Te’o and then Tyler Wilson as the QB. Geno Smith I have bad vibes on that selection, he can run, just not who I would think would fit the Chiefs scheme

    8. People here are worried about getting Vick? Compared to what we’ve had in the recent past, I don’t think that’s much to worry about. Let’s hope we don’t get Mark Sanchez.

    10. Its a great start by cleaning house and getting rid of the cancer like Pioli, but there is still alot of work to do.
But I have to say that I have alot more confidence in Clark now, and Reid is a real football head coach that will get things on track.

    11. I like Geno Smith. Watched a lot of videos on him. He’s got a strong arm and doesn’t turn the ball over. He smart too. He’s a pocket passer, who will run only if necessary. I know he wasn’t impressive in the bowl game, but he didn’t throw any interceptions and it was snowing. Also like the QB at Arkansas. Maybe we can get Smith from 49ers. I doubt Cousins will be leaving Redskins after seeing RG get hurt in the playoffs tonight. He’ll probably be out all next year. We’ll probably end up with Kolb to compete with a rookie.
