Reid Looking at Former Assistants

[Kansas City.com] Andy Reid is looking to his past to fill some key positions on the offensive side of the Chiefs coaching staff, a source close to the situation said.
Reid was talking to former Philadelphia assistant coaches Doug Pederson and Brad Childress about working for the Chiefs. Pederson, an Eagles assistant for the past four seasons, would be either the offensive coordinator or quarterbacks coach, perhaps both.
The role for Childress, a member of Reid’s staff for seven years earlier in his coaching career, was less certain but he wouldn’t serve as coordinator or quarterbacks coach.
The Chiefs have interviewed Ray Farmer and John Dorsey for the vacant general manager’s position.
Farmer, 38, is the Chiefs’ director of pro personnel. Dorsey, 52, is Green Bay’s director of college scouting.
Chiefs chairman Clark Hunt and Reid have been conducting the interviews with general manager candidates. Both have said Hunt will make the decision on which candidate the Chiefs would hire.
