[Kansas City.com] A day after completing the trade for quarterback Alex Smith and signing three free agents, the Chiefs added to their haul by signing wide receiver Donnie Avery of Indianapolis.
Avery caught 60 passes last year for the Colts, and he is a faster receiver who would be a good mix with Dwayne Bowe.
