Reid Says Albert Will Start at Left Tackle

[Kansas City.com] Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, in an interview on SiriusXM radio, solved the riddle of how the Chiefs would line up at offensive tackle.
“If (Branden Albert) was here today he would be the left tackle,’’ said Reid, the Chiefs’ coach. “Then we’d go from there and we’d just see what happens down the road. He is a proven left tackle in the National Football League at a very high level. We’ll just see how it all works out and let the process take place.’’
Reid said rookie Eric Fisher, the Chiefs’ first-round draft pick, would start at right tackle.
But, as Reid indicated, Albert had yet to report for Chiefs offseason workouts. The Chiefs continue full-squad practice in less than two weeks and if Albert hasn’t arrived by then, they may begin with Fisher on the left side.
